Troubleshooting Steps for Device Communication Failure with My Car

Troubleshooting Steps for Device Communication Failure with My Car

1. For wireless devices, please ensure that the VCI firmware is up to date.
2. Make sure the cable or VCI is securely connected to your car's DLC to establish a good physical connection between the car and the tablet.
3. Use the EOBD software to test communication (your car must support OBDII/EOBD). If communication is successful, the connection is good. Then, try accessing the vehicle software again and upload the data log.
4. If the EOBD software still cannot communicate, try using a different diagnostic cable or VCI with another compatible vehicle. If communication issues persist, upload the EOBD data log as there may be a hardware issue with the unit. Further assessment is needed by reviewing the data log.
5. If you cannot test with another VCI or cable, please upload the vehicle software data log directly.

After you submit the data log, please provide us with the serial number of the device. This will help us further analyze your issue.
