Differences in MX-Sensor Programming Methods
1. Copy by Activation: If the original vehicle's sensors can be activated, you can activate them to retrieve the sensor IDs and then program these IDs into Autel MX-Sensors.
2. Copy by OBD: This method involves reading the sensor IDs directly from the vehicle's ECU and programming them into MX-Sensors. Note that this requires both the device and the vehicle to support OBD functionality. Devices like the TS401, PAD, and TS408 do not support this method.
3. Manual Input: If you can obtain the original sensor IDs from the vehicle's original sensors, either by reading them directly from the sensors or through other means, you can manually input these IDs to program the MX-Sensors.
